Applicants: 'Apply online' service will be temporarily unavailable from 5 April 2013

Our 'Apply online' service for applicants inside the UK will be unavailable between 18:00 on 5 April 2013 and 06:00 8 April 2013 while we carry out essential maintenance.

During this time, applicants will not be able to:

  • access their customer account;
  • submit applications;
  • book appointments;
  • pay for their applications online; or
  • use our 'application form finder' tool.

If you are considering applying online around this period, please make sure that you... :

  • completed your online application form;
  • paid your fee;
  • have received an email from WorldPay confirming payment; and
  • checked the status of your application is shown as 'submitted' in your customer account.

These actions must be completed before 18:00 on 5 April 2013.

Please do not telephone us to book an appointment. We will not be able to book any appointments over the phone. The online appointment booking service in the UK will be available again on 8 April 2013.

This does not affect appointments already booked. If you already have an appointment please attend it.

Applying from outside the UK

Our 'Visa4UK' service for applicants outside the UK will be unavailable between 23:00 on 5 April 2013 and 01:00 6 April 2013 while we carry out essential maintenance.
